Welcome to The Leaky Pen, an Australian website dedicated to stationery.

What?

The Leaky Pen is home to thoughts and opinion on stationery, whether it be mechanical pencils, journals or staplers.  We write about what we use and why we use it.

Why?

The Leaky Pen was born from a love of stationery.  One website, three writers: all with a fascination for paper, pen, sticky notes and the like.

Who?

OS Wayfarer - OS Wayfarer is a specialist program/project director, team leader and adviser within the international aid development and education sector.  In his own time he likes to play golf, listen to the radio and follow the national soap opera that is politics.  None of that has anything to do with stationery but our passions don't have to be logical and within reason do they?  All you really need to know is that he knows, really knows, stationery and has years of experience using it.

Atticus - A secondary school teacher, Atticus spends much of his time with pencil in hand grading and sorting paper.  Over the years he has developed an appreciation of the pencil over red pen and a realisation that quality stationery is one of the simpler, finer pleasures in life.  Atticus' favourite stationery items are pencil cases and mechanical pencils.

Judy - An event management specialist requires an appreciation for quality stationery ... among other things, and Judy knows quality stationery when she sees it.  With a love of stationery 20 years strong her experience began at the tender age of four when she ate her first crayon.  By the time she consumed her second, she would be forever hooked on the pleasures of paper and pen.

When?

This website went live in January 2010.  The reviews and articles are written outside of work hours by the contributors and as such postings may be infrequent and sporadic.  Your patience will be rewarded.
