Nomadic PE-07 Pencil Case Review

Nomadic are one of my favourite pencil case brands and I own quite a few of their products. So, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when this particular pencil disrupted my 'one pencil case review every fortnight' hopes. The Nomadic PE-07 really threw a spanner in the works because I ended up using it for at least two and a half months.
The images below have been taken using my new light tent. You will notice the bluish tinge to the background. Hopefully I can work out how to eliminate that.
As you can see from the case label below you can almost store anything in this pencil case including ruler and scissors.

Inside the case are mesh pouches attached to both side walls. One is large enough for pens but the other is stitched down the middle into two sections. These two smaller pockets are great for erasers and clips.

To my knowledge the case is available in three colours: red, khaki and black. The red I chose has a neon tint to it and is quite bright. When I first started buying pencil cases I went for dark conservative colours but now I love the brighter neon styles that scream 'look at me!'. The three colour range caters to all tastes.
Outside of the case, on one side, is an external zippered pocket for quick retrieval of your most used items. The bottom length of this outside pocket is see-through mesh, exactly the same mesh as inside the case. Here on the outside between the meash and the material Nomadic have placed their brand label. It is a little too big for my liking but it's not too bad.

The inside of the pencil case is an even brighter orange colour. Hinged fan like sides add to the security of your items by preventing slippage if you haven't pulled the zipper all the way. The zippers themselves are all standard Nomadic zippers which is to say - high quality. I haven't had a Nomadic case or zipper fail on me yet.

Strung between the two hinged/fanned ends is a zippered envelope type pouch. The material it is also made from mesh but much finer and stronger. In the image below this compartment looks like it is made from almost solid pearl coloured material. You can also see my Faber Castell pencil protector in the side pocket.

All up there are five compartments to store your stationery goodies. That is oodles of room. But what makes this pencil case so versatile and roomy is that you can store your pens and other items in between these pouches and pockets. The area I am talking about is either side of the middle compartment strung between the end hinges.
You can't really fill all of PE-07 spaces to capacity at the same time without the case bulging like an air filled balloon but, if you sort your items wisely, this case can hold a fair amount. For over two months I carried a portable laptop hard drive around in this case with a veritable army of pens, pencils and knicknacks.
